About Us

Beck the Flower was set up by Rebecca Wright in 1995 as a florist retail company. This soon expanded into a group of outlets before a change in direction in 1997. The company moved into the wholesale sector and manufactured and distributed a range of aqua bouquets to customers all over the UK.

As well as fresh flowers, the company also designed and manufactured a range of noble fir wreaths, supplying leading retail multiples as well as florists and wholesalers across the country. A commitment to World class quality has seen Beck the Flower become an award winning market leader in this field.

This ongoing drive for excellence resulted in the company looking World wide for sources of high quality flowers. In 2002 it identified a number of Colombian growers who could meet the company's high standards and Beck the Flowers Import Business was launched.

Business growth was exceptional and it was not long before the company had to expand both its warehousing and offices to cope with the increase in demand. A purpose built temperature controlled warehouse with adjoining offices for its telesales, buying and accounts team is now based in the centre of the country, just minutes away from the motorway network. With a diverse customer base from small independent retailers to multi-national flower packers, the company continued to flourish.

Beck the Flowers business has continued to evolve and in 2009 expanded its operations in Europe with the opening of an office in Poland. A strong partnership with its growers and shippers has been key in the growth seen across Europe with continued success in Poland and Holland.

The aim for Beck the Flower is to continue its drive for world-class performance in everything it undertakes and to put customer satisfaction at the top of its key performance indicators.
